What now? (93)

I actually meant to write in this blog yesterday, but I felt that the topic was more appropriate for the other blog that I write in called The Little Things. It's a little blog I made to talk about the little things in life that aren't supposed to matter, but make the days a little more interesting. So what have I been doing these past couple of days? Well, read on!

I guess I can start when I came back home to Elkhart with my parents which is where my summer vacation officially started (I was taking summer classes until June 18th). On the first day back, I was invited to go to Erin's Graduation/birthday party. Oh, in case you didn't know, Erin is my cousin's girlfriend. Weird, huh? Me hanging out with someone else's girlfriend.... =3   Unfortunately for me, I wasn't done with my papers from my Japanese Culture class (I begged the teacher to give me an extra day) so I had to write them while people around me were having fun. Hmmm, I guess they weren't having much fun anyways since the laser tag hadn't started yet... but yeah, there was laser tag, and I was a part of that. Pew pew. (Erin's dad told me to go in there and take a break from my homework. I took his advice and blasted him XD)

I went to another grad party the next day and saw a lot of familiar faces (and a lot of new faces). I didn't have too much fun though, because I was tired as hell from pulling a few all nighters in a row in order to get all of my summer schoolwork done.::sigh:: The only true highlight was me playing Speed against my brother. I can't believe that we are almost equal at that game.

The next big happening was.... CEDAR POINT! Ha! Maybe I'll talk about that tomorrow.... err next post.

My Little Break (92)

"Did you get more wood?"
"Aw yeah!"

Don't worry if you don't understand that. It's a running gag that a few of my friends and I have. (From Pokemon Christmas Bash CD). Well, anyways.... I wake up today at around 11am, go to the living room, look at the TV, and guess what I see? Pokemon. It just so happens that Cartoon Network is showing a 3 movie marathon of Pokemon (movies 10,11, and 12). Seeing as my house mates happen to be huge Pokemon nerds, they had to sit down and watch them. And of course seeing as I have nothing to do for a few hours, I sit down and watch as well.... And what the hell? They changed all of the voice actors! Every single one of them! Like, I couldn't even recognize who was talking. Oh, and the movies weren't all that interesting. Instead, I hung around the internet and played Mother 3.

Oh yeah. I beat Mother 3. That game was amazing! Really sad, though. I had to pause for a second when I found out who the last boss was. It's not like I saw it coming, but it wow'd me. The ending was a little weird for me too. The words END? came up and I was allowed to move it around. During that, I think I had a conversation with just about any character in the game who was mildly important. It was stuff like, "Thank you for playing, Abraham," "Well, I guess we saved the world, huh." "I really enjoyed our time together." "Thanks for everything." stuff like that which lasted for about 20 minutes or so. After that, all of the characters from the game showed up and walked around in a credits type of fashion. Then the real credits started....

Probably what would have been the highlight of my day is what happened later that day. I went to another local show at the VGR hoping to get my fix of music before I came back home to start my papers, but unfortunately, only half of the bands showed up . So the concert only lasted for about an hour which was really disappointing. I did, however, like the bands that played. Tianemmen Squared, Osteoferocious, and Support the Troopz. They will be remembered. If you like hardcore music, these bands are definitely worth checking out.

Alright, time to sleep. I have a long day tomorrow (sigh).
